VEX 123 is an interactive, programmable robot that takes Computer Science and Computational Thinking off-screen, bringing them to life for kids from Pre-Kindergarten and up. The robot’s movements and sounds are controlled by simple touch sequences (colored coded symbols) that teach basic logic and problem-solving skills. Using the VEX Coder and physical cards, the completely screen-free experience shows users how to program in real time. From floor to table, educators and their students can create their own play spaces with fun and durable tiles. Kids can create customized play areas in any shape or size with fun and durable tiles for maximum engagement for their motorized bots. Kids can unlock the full power of their 123 robots by using Scratch Blocks: VEXcode Blocks, available for tablets, Chromebooks, Mac and Windows devices.
As kids advance in their own STEM journey, VEX Robotics is there every step of the way. Designed for students in Grade 3 and 4, VEX GO is the next evolution of robotics. The affordable construction system, provides kids with easy-to-grasp and creative interactions with their robots. With a hands-on and minds-on approach, kids can build their bot with 280+ color coordinated pieces, use safe circuitry (LED and optical sensors, smart motors and magnets) to power their bot and code their bot with VEXCode.
